Yep, I’m excited.
I’ve got one week to complete the baby’s quilt, and I’ve had difficulty locating the sewing foot I need for the machine top quilting. It should be arriving this week. Please send well wishes!
Waves of emotion have surfaced in the last few weeks as I look at photos of my daughter. When I last was with her, she had only a small baby bump. It's been a journey of joy, anticipation, and a touch of nostalgia through photos and calls. The opportunity to spend time with her will be such a gift. There will be much to write about in the coming weeks and months.
To that end, this month has five Fridays, so my writing schedule may vary slightly. The 9th will be quiet, and the 23rd will be up for grabs. I will offer an extra post that day if my traveling schedule permits. On the 30th, I will post my first paid subscriber-only Final Friday Roundup.
Wanna bet it has something to do with babies?
How lovely to plan and envision time with your daughter before the babe arrives. And to host her shower, gather with friends and family, to celebrate the emergence of a new life. Sounds so wonderful, Sue.
Babies, bluebells, bliss!
Gaia’s beauties, babes, blooms be.
