I’ve been working on the final post to our celebrations, but that story is complicated and long and I want to do it justice.
But more importantly, Bean (our kitty) needed a trip to the vet today (Thursday), making for a stressful day. Turns out she likely has asthma, maybe bronchitis/pneumonia. We are so thankful that, hopefully, it’s very treatable. As I write this, I’m still waiting for the call after the radiologist’s report.
I only managed a few sentences talking with the vet before my throat closed, especially after she confirmed that little Bean was in serious distress. I love animal doctors because they understand our tears, and more than that, they leave the entire room for them with their quiet manner and acceptance. She gave me and Bean the space to catch our collective breaths.
Bean is one of two siblings we rescued in 2020. Bean and Sis became the highlight of COVID-19 and the ensuing years.
The girls have two brothers which went to another family.
Although I wouldn’t have chosen to clean a cat box for four cats weekly, I still fantasize about having the four of these cats in my midst. If their brothers are anything like our girls, it would be quite an amazing and lovely household, and worth the effort.
Sweetest cats ever.
Looking forward to sharing my next post concluding the weddings…
PS/ The vet confirmed Bean’s diagnosis and she has already responded to the meds. Send a positive thought that she continues to heal. xo
Sending you and Bean all the love, Sue! 😻
I have fallen in love! Poor Bean. I'm glad she is responding well to the meds
