First, thanks to those who reached out about last week’s post. I appreciated your kind words and support as they passed by my desk on their way, hopefully, to the Quilici family. I recently wrote here about the invisible connection we create with our thoughts.
Speaking of giving thanks for my readers, while cleaning out my desk drawers this week, I found something I had written years ago when blogs were gaining popularity. For years I brainstormed often trying to come up with a subject matter that people would want to read. Time and again, I succumbed to doubt and put my ideas on the back burner. I only wanted to write about life and feelings, and who would want to read that?
The two-page document I came across was my attempt at describing what my possible blog would be about, a solicitation of sorts that I could use as a first post.
On the first page,
This is an invitation into my soul, in a manner of speaking, as that’s what I will be putting out there on the page.
And further on in the document,
My dream is a website where I could write about life, my experiences, and my thoughts and, in the process, try to encourage others.
One last interesting comment,
And if I do this right, it might even support me financially.
Those many years ago, I swiftly buried the writing in the bottom of my desk.
Ridiculous; who’s going to read a blog where I write about my everyday experiences?
Rediscovering my words written so long ago, I had to shake my head. I had manifested precisely what I wrote about. And not only had I managed to attract a few people who did want to read my work (just shy of 200 as we speak) the universe had come to my aid with a platform called Substack, where my subscribers would grow. Some would even pay to support my writing.
The precious reminders I receive from time to time are a gift helping me understand that even when I can’t see the forest for the trees, possibility is always waiting for me.
I love the old saying “be careful what you wish for”. Manifestation is a very powerful tool when used in a positive way. Some may call it luck but I like to think of it as our spiritual guide helping us to create what is important to us in life.
Keep on manifesting!
