(Written on Sunday.) We arrived home today after two weeks of traveling from coast to coast celebrating our girls’ weddings. While my heart is full, my body and mind are tired. I peacefully napped on our bed within an hour of arriving home, with kitty by my side. Is there anything better than your bed after being away from home for an extended stay?
I look forward to writing about the weddings on Friday. In the meantime, I will slowly decompress, appreciating the blessings of our lives, family, and friends. It’s good to be home.
In her Sunday Agape Love message today, my friend Tracey shared this YouTube video of Music Travel Love, a perfect listen as I settle in this evening to write. This particular song has been a long-time favorite of mine; the lyrics remain relevant especially at this time in our world. This rendition by Music Travel Love is quite beautiful. Hope you enjoy it.
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, tooImagine all the people
Livin' life in peaceYou may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
'It's good to be home.' How lovely, Sue. ♥️
Welcome home. Truly the only thing that matters in this world is love. I am praying for all the innocent people impacted by the choice of a few men on both sides of this conflict. “Let there be Peace I’m Earth and Let It Begin with Me”.
