As I write this, we are nine days away from Thanksgiving. The colors out my window reflect the mood, and my house is lying in wait. I have much to be grateful for as this Thanksgiving arrives…
My health and that of my loved ones, always on the top of my list, right beneath the gift of having those loved ones.
Abundance I enjoy each and every day, which I try never to lose sight of.
The freedoms that I take for granted more often than I’d care to admit.
My kitties— I love these cats.
And this year, something new— the growing number of people I’m able to connect with here and through my writing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for returning week after week to read yet another of my yogini yarns.
I’d love to hear from you, what feels close to your heart this Thanksgiving?
I’ll be back this Friday to share the experience of my book reading. Next week I will be taking off to enjoy the holiday and take in all that I have to be grateful for. I wish my readers above all, peace in their hearts as they move through the Thanksgiving holiday.
Lyrics from Yours Forever by James Horner (Perfect Storm)
Here we are in the grays of winter Here we are just me and you Hold my hand Let’s face tomorrow Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you This precious time we've only borrowed The autumn winds have blown on through A quiet thought will tell our story Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you Yes, tomorrow still holds out its hands to you Here’s some wings, they're yours forever And here's some dreams that will come true Take these tears, wash away your sorrows Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you Yes, tomorrow still holds out its hand to you
Sue, I'd love to hear about your wind-tasting book celebration. I bet your other faithful readers would too!
I love your fur babies, the top warm house photo, and your writing. It is the best time of year for thanking those we love. I am grateful for all of them. Happy Thanksgiving, Sue.
