Welcome to the first Hump Day Gratitude post. That’s right, nobody sent any suggestions for a better title, so for now, we are stuck with the title Hump Day Gratitude. Suggestions are still welcome, and I continue to have copies of my book as a prize and a year’s paid subscription to this newsletter if I select your title.
Joking aside…
Welcome to the first “Hump Day Gratitude” post.
I think it’s fitting that I talk about my readers in this initial post. I was going to write about hydrangeas; they’re important too, but as my fingers began to glide across the keyboard listening to one of my favorite Train songs, I choked with tears of gratitude.
I am fortunate enough to be sitting at my desk on this hot Tuesday afternoon in Cool, California (not sure what the townspeople were thinking when they named this town), writing to kindred souls who choose to spend a few moments in their inbox connecting with me regularly. As a writer and a storyteller, how crazy lucky does that make me?
I’m looking forward to creating this midweek pause to remind each other of all the possibilities we might be grateful for. Granted, we are all different, but like I said in my last post, we have far more in common than we will ever know.
Thank YOU for reading this post right now.
Tag… you’re it. Hit that comment button, which should be down below the share button, and post something you are grateful for. Oh, and feel free to hit the share button on your way to the comments. It would be pretty great if we could generate a momentum.
“Hump for Joy”! I am thankful for my circle of friends who truly bring me joy. So blessed that you are a part of that circle♥️
Your right my friend:))
