Well, nature lovers, are we ready to spread a little T.L.C. this last Monday in March?
I mentioned on Friday in my post, We are nature, that I will use Mondays to keep the momentum going and a place where we can share our thoughts, feelings, and experiences with each other as we pay it forward.
My challenge for today is to do one gracious act that you typically might not consider doing. It can be as simple as smiling at a stranger or something magnanimously kind, do something extraordinary for the environment, support your coworker or a friend in need, or thank your local grocery clerk. And yes, even appreciating the smell of spring blossoms counts.
Get creative and have fun with it. And by golly, please consider sharing with us what you did and how it felt. NO JUDGEMENTS AND NO COMPARISONS! No act of kindness is too small.
You can share in the comments below or head over to my Chat here. The chat feature will make it easier to read others' comments without returning to my post. Chat is much like a group text, where you will receive a notification if someone has added a comment or photo and have the opportunity to comment on their posts. The chat will remain live as long as we continue this effort.
I’m excited to work with you all to generate some much needed positivity.
Great prompt. I almost skipped over something because it was something I loved doing and I almost slipped into ... well, that doesn't count ... and then I stopped myself. I love making flipbooks with photos and words. I made one for a friend's birthday party that delighted her as she sent it to friends who couldn't be at the party. There are probably a lot of us who do acts of kindness that we don't think of as such because we love sharing them. TLC doesn't have to be "a chore."
Thanks for the food for thought, Sue.
Just found your newsletter today. I was in my art therapy process painting class today, and I painted every aspect of nature that I could, from the weeds to the trees to the birds and bees, and all parts thereof. Thanks for the reminder that we are nature. I just subscribed.
