After three weeks of expending large amounts of energy sleeping in many different places, I awoke this morning in my own bed with no need to ask myself, “Which way is the bathroom?” or “What party am I supposed to be attending and what do I need to do for it?” Instead, I asked myself, “What’s going on in the world,” anticipating an answer I wouldn’t like.
Last night, I dreamed I was being attacked by three people, one pointing a red and black gun directly at my throat at very close range. My first instinct was to scream and cry, but instead, I quieted myself, closed my eyes, and trusted in something bigger than myself, thinking of my loved ones— a powerful message making its way to me from my subconscious mind. I will take that with me as I make my way to teach yoga this morning.
I want to share Karen Davis’ post from yesterday, “Spreading Peace.” She speaks for all of us and offers her own powerful messages through her art.
Today I have been reminded of my favorite hymn. “Let There Be Peace On Earth and Let It Begin With Me”. Praying for both inner peace and peace and healing to the world.
Thank you for sharing this from Karen Davis.
“People say walking on water is a miracle, but to me walking peacefully on the Earth is the real miracle.” - Thich Nat Hang
I needed it tonight.
