As I enter this last week, with Hanukkah underway, Christmas days away, and several other celebrations in our midst, I am looking forward to slowing down and putting the words from my last post into action. I received some lovely responses from readers committing to spread kindness throughout this time of year, which, as pleasant as it can be, can also be full of sorrow and angst. Two readers sent quotes I want to pass along.
Chinmayan shared Mother Teresa’s wisdom-
We all may not be able to do great things for others, but we can all do small things with great love!
And Vicki quoted Robin Williams-
Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.
Thank you, Chinmayan and Vicki, for sharing these beautiful thoughts.
Over 200 people read last week’s post. I received many positive responses in the comments, emails, texts, etc. Just think, if 200 of us do just one thing different each day to spread kindness, that’s a big deal.
