I couldn’t help myself— I wanted to share with you that one of my favorite books that I often quote from, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse is now a 38ish-minute BBC film. Check out the trailer here.
We watched it last night on AppleTV. What a perfect ending to Christmas day. The film is as lovely as the book and brought Rick and me to tears in numerous scenes. It will become one of my holiday must-sees.Â
Also, I wanted to share some of our friend Tracey’s holiday antics, posing as an elf on the Streets of San Francisco. Tracey and her husband, Mike, have volunteered for the SFFD Firefighters Toy Program for many years. Mike is a retired firefighter.
Every October, this beauty comes out of storage for yet another holiday season delivering toys and goodies to citizens and families in need. Tracey reported that she ran like a champ this year. Here are just a few of the treats Mike and Tracey delivered.
I don’t know about you, but these photos and the work that Tracey and Mike perform every December warm my heart. Thank you both for your tireless efforts in making a difference in people’s lives every day, especially during the holidays.
We missed watching the film live but I'm intending to see it on BBC iPlayer before the year is out...!
And wow, Tracey and Mike!
What wonderful work your friends do to make other’s Holidays so special.
