Life isn’t always kind, much as I wish it was. I’ve somehow come to peace with that reality-- I’m thinking a benefit of aging. I liken it to children as they age and come into their own, finally finding common ground with their parents.Â
I’ve found my common ground with God/the universe/fill in the blank; I believe all roads lead back home.Â

It’s important to remember you are your best friend. You are your most important advocate. You are where home begins. And you are the caretaker of your most precious possession, your soul.
It’s not only okay to take good care of yourself, it’s your job.
Said perfectly wise words .)
