Every now and then, life surprises you with extraordinary blessings. Those moments become memories that enable us to carry through the most challenging of times.
I’ve returned from a trip I couldn’t speak about in my last post. It was a journey to surprise my daughter Amy when her (now) fiancé Michael asked her to marry him. It was last minute and threw my schedule off.
We returned home late Wednesday night. I believed I would be able to pull off a post for this morning, but instead, yesterday, I allowed myself to slow down, sink back into home, kitties, and friends, send off thanks to all those who took such great care of us this last week, and maybe most importantly, take in all that had transpired.
I’ve got much to share. I’m looking forward to writing next week.
Cheers! Exciting stuff, and glad you shared this instead of attempting to crank out something else.
What a great reason for an unexpected trip! Looking forward to hearing all about it. My granddaughter's husband is tall like your new son-in-law-to -be. Six foot seven I think.
