Sue, if you are falling asleep during our exciting video of our UK adventures then...you were in need of the shut-eye, we understood it and it was totally okay. I know you have many things on you plate right now, and I might suggest if you are feeling a bit fatigued around 1-2 pm, stop and rest for 15 or 20 minutes. I have been doing that for a while now and have energy for the evening. There is no shame in taking a few minutes for yourself. Nighty-Night!

Aww, thanks for understanding! I like your idea of a break midday. I'll keep you posted and promise to try that before our next get together, lol! 💜

This post made me giggle. I have never been a nap taker either unless I was sick. As I have grown older I occasionally find myself dozing off in the afternoon when I am watching TV, reading a book or looking at my iPad. I usually only sleep about 15 minutes and I always wake up surprised that I actually dozed off. I have even dropped my book a few times. I am a very busy person too but sometimes my 71 year old body needs to regenerate.

I need to set aside the time to rest, lol. I do believe I would enjoy the habit once I make it a priority to slow down. 💜

Sue! The days you took a nap, did you sleep ok at night? I’m curious how a nap would affect your sleep! I thrive on naps. One way I look at it is if I do some great things before it I feel like I’ve earned a good nap! If not, that’s ok too. A Power Nap is a lovely recharge for me. Have fun on your upcoming trip!

Thanks, Stephanie. Since I nap so rarely I haven't paid attention to how I sleep at night. I will see going forward if it makes a difference for me. I'll keep you posted. 💜

Sue. Time to explore statistics on your leftovers. Tune your efforts to match what can actually be done. On naps. It's no badge of honor to work into exhaustion. Your body is calling. Adjust pivot reconsider she exclaims. Thomas Jefferson. Leonardo di Vinci. JFK. All took naps. And accomplished bucket loads. Perhaps disrupting your pattern can reveal new ones. Outliers maybe you've never given yourself a chance to explore, to witness, to testify to. Namaste

Nothing is more important than one's own health. Without health, you have nothing. Top priority!

I also have several things going on at once, but like you say, a lot gets dine! But in the last few days I have deliberately made myself do only a few things each day, and it's been very relaxing. I highly recommend it

I'm working at it, and I must say it takes practice. 💜

Happy Anniversary! Happy vacation! Happy napping! IMHO you are cramming too much into a day. It takes a lot of time and concentration to plan your yoga classes. Entertaining, even when Rick does a lot of the work, is emotionally draining. Even the big event weddings have to be on your mind as well. slept through the movie "Good Morning Vietnam! You can nap and still sleep soundly. Trust me, I have tested that theory for you! (You're welcome.) 🌷🌷🌷(Sue) 🌷🌷🌷

Thank you, Vicki! Your opinion is accurate, always cramming too much into my day. I think that's where I begin this change, and the rest will fall into place! 💜

I feel every word you said! I definitely pack a lot in my days. Sadly I haven’t mastered resting and my sleep pattern is way off. I need to work on that ❤️❤️❤️

I used to think napping was for the weak. Now I recognize that just 15 minutes of shut eye when I am low can really bring me back online. 🥰
