not a baby shower, but a baby tornado? What do you have to do to get one of those??

The quilt turned out beautifully. That storms sounded fierce. I do love a passage in the Bible that says “God sends his blessings on the wind”. It sounds to me like many blessings were sent that day. Love you 😘

What a talent you are, Sue! The quilt is absolutely beautiful - exactly as a labor of love should be. So happy to know the storm did not diminish the celebration. In fact, it added quite a story to the day!!

Whoa!! I'm so thrilled that Mother Universe cooperated in time for your special afternoon. That was quite an adventure.

The quilt is gorgeous, as are all of your smiles.

I love peonies, and the other morning, while walking, I complimented a gentleman as he was pruning in his garden. He cut me a bunch! What a gift it was. I'm still enjoying their beauty and fragrance.

Oh, what a wonderful gift that was! I have a dear friend in my neighborhood who has a lilac tree that produces a huge amount of flowers. For the last few years she has given me a lovely bouquet of lilacs. This year I realized I could reciprocate with peonies and I left her a bouquet just before I left for this trip. The fragrance of each of those flowers is nothing short of heavenly. Thanks for the kind words about the quilt. xo
