Lovely read Sue. Thanks for sharing. It's that holding the tension of opposites again, being able to feel the sadness and loss at the same time appreciating the joy and gift of friendship and camaraderie.

Lovely poem. So sorry your dear friends are moving away. It’s a painful loss. I hope they won’t be too far.

Beautiful words. It is always hard to say goodbye to others in all capacities in life. People move in and out of our lives and touch our souls for many different reasons. Life moves on but the cherished memories stay in our hearts. Sending hugs and love.

This morning I did need this 🙏🏻, love the poem . I woke with a heavy heart about the state of the world, but also about loss and friendships . You are so fortunate to have such good friends and neighbours , you will miss them. My sadness was a result of seeing a couple yesterday who we have known for years, but only talk about restaurants, holidays and art galleries. We brought up a dilemma we are facing and need help with, they completely ignored it…so I felt bereft and decided I no longer want to see them. It still feels like a loss ❤️‍🩹 but a good decision.

Susan, I completely understand. I also have been stressing about the world. Not sure how we can help. But then I consider the changes that are possible when people work together. Like your post yesterday. We have a voice and a platform. If we believe we can help, then perhaps we can do just that. Let's keep shining the light! 💚

Yes, for sure! And lucky for us, we have loved ones that brave the 99 often to make their way to us! 💚💚💚

Endings are hard. But they bring new beginnings. Sorry to be cliche. I mention this as I watch Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles say his goodbyes go our team and my word will he be missed. It's tough to watch but I know many new opportunities will await him down the road, as will you. I've said goodbye to quite a few neighbors over the 11 years I've lived here, I know how hard it is.

To new beginnings! ✨️
