I worked on ancestry research last weekend. I found a niece this way two years ago. In rechecking I found this niece has two half sisters. It was a thrill to hear how excited she was to find out about her sisters. I am grateful for the internet to help miracles come true. A suggestion for hump day is Warm Wednesday's Gratitudes. Some kind of throwback Thursday would be fun as well. The flowers are gorgeous. Such a perfect picture with the sunlight on the chair, the windows, and the blooms. Your Rick is awesome!
I'm grateful for the couple who come to our old house every week to do those things our bodies balk at these days. Yesterday, it was spreading mulch around the fruit trees in the little orchard. (They didn't produce a single thing this year. The April freeze killed all the little buds. As well as our wonderful hydrangeas.) Then they attached a beautiful manzanita branch to our front gate, because when it is over 90 degrees, that metal bar gets so hot it burns your hand whenever you go in and out. So thanks, Aaron and Miriam. You make old age a pleasure out in The Back of Beyond. Woden's Day Gratitude!

Love a few peaches!
Thankful that my niece safely delivered her baby boy and that she and her fiancé are basking in new parenthood.
I am grateful for waking up to a balmy somewhat sunny day. Also grateful to be heading out for an evening sail on the San Francisco Bay.

Both of those things sound heavenly. I hope you can share a photo of the sail later! Enjoy my friend, you deserve these days!
