I love how you found so much connection with this song, and the "coincidence" in dates. Amazing.

Thank you, Heather. I really had fun mixing the lyrics of this song with my stories. I didn't know if it would work when I first began writing this piece, but in the end, Norah's lyrics added so much to the post. And yes, the coincidence really blew my mind. Amy loved the connection of the dates as well! 💜

The lyrics gave this post a very cool rhythm. Not gonna lie, you made me cry a little, especially with what happened to your dad’s hands and how you missed out on the music. It’s funny how we mourn experiences we never had. So beautiful, Sue.

One of your best pieces. Bar none. I love and adore Ravi Shankars daughter and her musical craftsmanship her sultry voice her prose and ability to harness raw emotion in cascades of musical delights. Apparently she wrote this song for you. You Amy her beau Rick Jordan your families and the cast of millions witnessing a blessed event. To say you all have been on our minds especially mine would be a gross understatement. May a new wind raise your sails in a favorable next direction. Blessings. ( maybe he and I could cover a dave Matthews tune one day. )

And yes, you and Don might well cover a Dave Matthews tune one day! Got a favorite song? 💜

Okay, darn it, you have me in floods of tears again! That was one emotional post! I love how you tied your father into Amy and Michael's wedding. A bit haunting with Dave playing his violin for the event. Enjoy the weddings, then take a breather. We can then start sewing in earnest when you are ready.

Haha, I said to Rick this morning, "I'm going to hear from Jen on this one!" This was emotional for me as well to write, but nice emotion, the happy ending type of cry. I can't wait to sew in earnest with you soon. I've been using the machine for repairs on some of my clothing and it's just a dream! I love love love it. Was just using it again last night. Have a great few weeks. See you soon! 💜

This was so beautifully written it made me a bit emotional. It is fascinating how thing we brush off as coincidence really have meaning if we take the time to look closely at them. Enjoy Amy’s wedding. Sending love to all of you on that special day.
