Hi Sue, I've been to Multnomah Falls several times - it is a truly beautiful. But, I've never seen it during the winter - even more lovely. If I'm not mistaken - and I might be - my brother had his bride had their rehearsal dinner at the lodge.
Such a beautiful story that I am sure has touched the hearts of many of us. We are so blessed to be a small part of your trip. I will be sad to see it come to an end but I know you will be sharing more beautiful stories with us in the future.
I loved reading your take on the falls which I've only visited on emotionally challenging occasions when I was not able to truly appreciate them. I can now appreciate them from afar.
Very touching, Sue. I'll be sad to see it end. I hope you get back in the winter, for the falls and for the folks. It's "Just a train ride away"---and that might be cool in the snow too.
Oh, I keep thinking about the winter there. Visiting the falls in winter has made its way to my bucket list, which is great because it give me yet another excuse to travel to visit my family. Thank you, Leslie, for your connection and support. 💚
Awww, thank you so much Marti! That's a very nice thing to say to a writer. I appreciate it very much! Btw, is this Marti from my high school? I wonder every time I see your comments. Cheers!
Goodbyes are so difficult - but with these goodbyes comes a fabulous set of happy memories to reflect on.
This line is everything, dear Sue: "There was a time when I would have needed to purchase something as a souvenir. Today, I have all the gifts I need tucked into my heart."
Beautiful view, thank you🤗🤗🤗
You are very welcome!

What a wonderful place to have a rehearsal dinner! I simply must get there in the winter. I love the snow.
Gorgeous falls. What a heartfelt ending to this trip. Maybe a photo album with these essays is in order?
I love that idea, CK! Thanks for the suggestion. 💚
Thank you for taking us in this trip with you. 💞
Thank you for joining me! 🥰

A brilliant, absolutely brilliant post. xxx
Such a deepening of love and connection. I'm so happy for you and your family, Sue.
I've been to Multnomah Falls over the years and in the winter, but I've never seen it covered in snow like that. Breathtaking!
I know. I'd just love one day to see that in person!
