What I have learned about forgiveness is that it is a tremendous gift for ourselves.
We think that in forgiving another, we are doing something for them; in fact, we are unburdening ourselves of weight on our hearts and minds, leaving ourselves free to pursue life with abandon.
💕
Personally, I had one of the best Mother’s Day’s ever. I looked forward to visiting my mom. The gift I brought was simple; a card and a milkshake from her favourite ice cream shop.
I brought no expectations, no worries, and no backpack of yesterday’s woes.
I love peonies too. Hopefully some will still be blooming when I return home. Likely many can relate to the sleepless nights. I'm just grateful when I can return to those early morning thoughts after a day or two! Hope you had a nice Mother's Day.
I look forward to your upcoming posts.

Oh, Patricia, that's wonderful. I'm happy for you. I know it's been a long journey and you deserve to let go of that backpack of woes.
The peonies are gorgeous! A Mother Nature gift. Have a wonderful visit with Amy. I’ll look forward to hearing about your trip. 💜
Thanks, Pat. Having a wonderful time so far. Very beautiful here this time of year. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Lovely, Sue. What a wonderful way to spend your Mother's Day, with Amy and baby girl.
It most certainly was!!!
Happy belated Mother’s Day. Can’t wait for your next story on Friday. Enjoy your time with Amy.
Thanks my friend. I hope you had a blessed day yesterday!
Love the peonies and vase too. I’ve had those sleepless nights too— hoping to remember in the morning.
