Many years ago we visited Yosemite and the Redwood Forrest, and I marveled at how none of us tired of looking at trees.
Nothing like nature. We have a downed plane hike here too in WA state. It’s near Forks. There’s also an abandoned mine a bit further. Cool 10 mile hike.
It's fun to hike on any trail, but it's a little extra exciting when there's a compelling destination. For that last quarter of a mile on this hike I kept looking around each bend with anticipation. 💜
Sue, this is beautiful! I love hiking and talking with friends. Having my dog with me always enhances my hike, as he checks everything out. His frequent stops and searching brings my attention to things I would otherwise miss.
