@sue ferrera Sue, I've had mixed feelings about a hero post ... especially the putting-my-picture-in-the-middle part. On the other hand, I believe that part of the magic of newsletters (for readers) is connecting with the writer as a person as well as a writer. And, I've questioned the redundancy between About Pages and Hero Posts.
You've just exploded that thinking! I look at your home page and think, "I want to know that woman," and then remember that I do (gratefully).
I'm still not sure what I want to do with that center spot on my home page ... I've been switching posts in and out of there ... and, unless I can borrow your photo, I'm not sure I can come up with an inviting photo. so I'm still thinking. Would love to hear what others think about that home page geography.
