From Ted Andrews, The Sacred Power in Your Name

Susan, Sue....

"lily; full of grace"

Suggested Affirmation: "I am Susan. I am the lily of grace."

Primary Vowel/Element: U/Element of Earth

Primary Sound/Chakra: "oo"/Base Chakra

Those of this name have a powerful personal symbol that should be used on a regular basis. The lily is a symbol of purity and is associated in occult Christianity with the Archangel Gabriel and the Christ energies activated within the heart of the Earth at the time of the Winter Solstice. The Winter Solstice was always a sacred festival. It was a time of the shortest amount of daylight upon the Earth, but a time when each day thereafter the Sun would shine brighter and longer. It is the time of the victory of the Sun over darkness, and it is within their own life circumstances. The predominant element is earth, and thus these individuals have come to bring new light, grace, and purity into their little part of the Earth. The Earth is quiet, following its own cycle of growth and expression, and yet it manifests beauty in all seasons. This is the inherent energy and grace of those with this name. This is what they have the capability of achieving. p 289

Oh my gosh, this is lovely, thank you for sharing this information about my name. I realize reading this that I have never looked into the meaning of my name, which seems odd to me because I was all about the meaning of names when I named my kids. Or maybe at one time I knew the meaning and have forgotten it, lol. 💜

I agree with others you are wonderful combination of so many strong and powerful traits along with being sweet. I also understand that “being sweet” can often cause us to do things we don’t want to or say things we don’t mean. It may be Area that most women can work on.

I love this story about your parents. Did your dad always have premonitions? I remember when the Artists away was first published. It’s timeless.
