What a great story and so well told! And dogwoods are the best! They’re our state tree and in fourth grade we all planted one. Mine and my sisters still live in my dad’s backyard and now my nieces is growing there as well.

Dogwoods are simply beautiful. I lost the pink one this year, the one that is pictured in my post. I will have to replace it soon, as it was my favorite color. That's lovely that your dad's backyard is filled with all the family's plantings. It must be amazing. I'd love to see a picture some time! 💟

That was a crazy circle-of-life story! There really are only a few degrees of separation!

Sue, You are such an intuitive storyteller! I've often told my daughter's about the chance that we all cross paths many times in life...love that we did. And that my little Dogwood painting has found its home. Couldn't have wished for more. Grateful too that you shared my IG profile...wouldn't it be so fun to cross more paths! xxx

Thank you, Barbara. I'm thrilled that we crossed paths as well. And you live very close, so we'll have to connect over lunch soon. I was happy to share your IG profile. Your paintings are beautiful, and Brad the dog not the husband is adorable! 💟

What a great story. It really is a small world. Jeff was a funny guy for sure. Love the connection of your daughter and his.

Then the gift of art connection. Wow!

I love that connection as well. Once I knew that Jenna was Jeff's daughter, when Amy would come home still laughing, I'd say, "I know, honey," and I'd be laughing right along with her 💟.

Loved this!!! Isn't it a gift when a friend from an old path lands in our current one?

It sure is! It seems to happen often, so I can't think it's just coincidence. 💟
