I did the unsubscribe as per your directions about getting too many substack “commercial emails” as I call them. Hope I didn’t totally unsubscribe from everything! I’m not really that tech savvy. It took me a couple months to learn how to post a picture! LOL!
Just keep an eye for your favorite newsletters, and if they stop showing up you can always resubscribe. Keep me posted as I'm interested to make sure it works for you. I have unsubscribed from a few and one or two kept coming. I then went into their actual website to unsubscribe and it finally worked.
thanks for the mention, I only had to point and the master walked the steps... I have another idea.. or 3, we should email or call.......... shortly is better than eventually. On the M,F thing, anything that encourages your deep long form, which is my favorite, I would favor, (favor, favorite, department of redundancy department) sometimes your deep pieces are simply breathtaking,.. -love K
What you just did there... that... bring me to tears with your words of encouragement, is what helped me find the courage to brave this new world/Substack :) Thank you, Kurt. I hope I can pay that forward one day for another writer. Yes, sooner! Sending love from both Rick and I. 💟
Good move here, Sue! I tend to forget there are readers out there who aren’t familiar with the way Substack does things, so I might send something similar to my subscribers. Nobody needs extra stuff in their inboxes!
Feel free to copy and paste. I copied this with Karen Davis' permission from Life in the Real World. We all need to spread the word because the last thing we want is people getting irritated with the platform.
Monday and Wednesday are different. Each has a purpose and place here. And I am accustomed to M, W, F. I needed to do the same thing with a couple of newsletters.
Thank you for your kind comments! It's really fun to watch the survey unfold. Boy, Substack makes it so easy to do a survey. I remember the old days when it took more than a few clicks. I actually remember being in 8th grade and doing a popularity survey between the Beatles and the Monkeys. It was a project. The Beatles of course won. 💟

Love doing business with you, Sue!
