I love this! You are right in the vein of what I'm drawn to. Several years ago I had Parent Peer Specialist training and though I'm also not a therapist, I do like that life experiences give us the ability to walk alongside others.

Thank you, Amy! I just recently, after a few months shy of two years, rewrote my About page as well as my welcome page, and finally they are more in keeping with what I actually write about, hence my advice that it's okay to be patient and grow into your Substack. Also connect with writers you truly have something in common with, as they will be your biggest supporters! 💚

From one Yogini to another - thanks for sharing part of your journey! I have taught for 20 years and also newly write about my journey as yoga, teacher, and other parts of me as well. Glad to have found you here, kindred soul!

Thanks for sharing Sue. Your story is compassionate and warm. I love the title of your publication, I can relate to feeling and being a wayward yogini. I taught yoga and meditation for over 30 years and it has pulled me from the depths many times.

Thank you, Paulette! I appreciate your comments. I still have "Gray Areas" pulled up on my computer, waiting to respond. I loved that post. I should catch up with myself today! 💕

I had heard of the hero post from Claire Venus @sparkleonsubstack , so it is good to see and read how you have done it.

I need to do mine , so appreciate your example., as well as getting to know you.

Yes, I believe I may have learned about the hero post from Claire as well. Once I learned about the importance of a hero post, I studied a number of sites to see what appealed to me. I also had to learn how to upload a post without sending it to my readers, lol. The whole process took the better part of a month. Your site is lovely, the colors are very appealing. I'm sure it will look amazing with a hero post! Happy to get to know you as well. 💕
