The beach for sure - 100%. When I was going through my cancer journey, I often went to the beach - whether in reality or just in thought. I could close my eyes and hear the waves. It was definitely a grounding and healing exercise ❤️❤️❤️
Yes!!! When we lived in Montara before we moved to the foothills, I could walk to the beach and often I was the only one on the shore. We lived there four years and by the time we left, it had grown much more popular. I'm so grateful I had that time. 💜
My original cup of thoughts was just the quote about considering what makes us feel good. Terry Freedman responded with a humorous comment about cake and zen, and it just reminded me of my favorite little children's book. I think you have mentioned you have grandchildren. This lovely little book is a gift to the soul for both children and adults. When I first read it, I bought four copies for my grown children and step children. It also was made into a movie last year and won an academy award. I could read the sweet little book over and over again.
Yoga and ocean dipping. And walking on the beach or in the forest!
Love all of those! 💝

I am sorry but I don't understand your message. Is it a meditation? A yoga thing? I did not read the book about the mole. I am just kind of lost.

I understand now. Thanks. I will get a copy of that book for my ten yr old grandson.
Meditation.
Two votes for meditation :)
For some reason this reminds me of a Zen story:
Q: What is the most important thing in the universe?
A: Cake
lol, which then reminds me of Charlie Mackesy's The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse.
"I've learned how to be in the present."
"How?" asked the boy.
"I find a quiet spot and shut my eyes and breathe."
"That's good. And then?"
"Then I focus."
"What do you focus on?"
"Cake," said the mole.
Chortle 😁
Meditation and Yoga!!!!

lovely ... definitely walking ... beach, mountains, through neighborhoods, along country roads ...
