Dear Sue, what a beautiful post you’ve shared...a beautiful day for a beautiful family...the perfect verse to describe the deep love Amy and Michael share with each other...the poetic toast you wrote that sums up so beautifully with how we mothers feel about our children. I couldn’t be happier seeing you one inch off the ground, radiant and proud. Bravo, Sue! Time play La vie en Rose one more time to get the last tears out! 😘❤️🫶

This post is beautiful. So beautiful that it brought tears to my already tear soaked eyes. I'm so glad your daughter and your family had such a beautiful day! The rain is luck! It rained off and on and was HOT 🔥 lol on my day a year and a half ago-- but the luck is REAL- may your beautiful daughter embrace all you have given her and her husband now will give her. ❤️ thank you for sharing this beautiful image of what took place on her wedding day. The La Vie En Rose is such a stunning touch. I love it. 🌹

Such a beautiful name built for amazing women and lovely souls. I miss my mom a lot. But I know she is here with me all the time-- especially on my wedding day. Xoxo.

She was there I'm sure of it. I'm glad we had such good relationships with our mothers. I struggled at times but my love for her got stronger as we battled things together and a part. I miss her every minute of every day but I feel her spirit guiding me. ❤️🌹🙏

You and me both. Not sure if you read my post a few months back about my mom and I and why I am so grateful for being a part of Amy's wedding. We aren't promised ever-present blue skies, but we are given the possibility of coming together in love and healing. https://waywardyogini.substack.com/p/weathering-the-storm

Sue, this brought me to tears. Your joy and happiness is palpable and radiated from every word. As the mother of an only daughter, the words from part of your speech resonated with me so much. My daughter is single but one day I hope she will marry and I wish Amy and her new husband all the happiness in the world. 💕💕

You stay and linger in La Vie en Rose for as long as necessary. Weddings of our daughters are extremely special and the happy space you find yourself in should be savoured as long as you can. xo
